Botox / Botulinum / Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Botulinum toxin can be injected to smooth out lines & wrinkles on the face. Classic 3 area botox addresses the crows feet, forehead & the “number 11” just above the bridge of the nose.

Problems of excessive sweating can also be treated by the injection of botox in the armpits.

Results are usually seen between 4 and 7 days after injections and last anywhere from 3 to 6 months depending on individual variability and amount injected.

Repeat treatment is only recommended once full movement has returned and this is not usually before 12 weeks.

Topical local anaesthetic cream is applied to the relevant areas about 20 minutes before the filler is injected.

Results are visible immediately and will also further enhance & settle over the next few days.

Depending on the area of injection, amount and type of filler used, the results last between 6 and 18 months.

This is a stabilised hyaluronic acid that can be injected to address skin laxity. Results can be seen after 4 to 8 weeks and include visible improvement in firmness, elasticity together with the knowledge that skin quality is being improved by the hydrating properties of hyaluronic acid.

The treatment consists of 5 injection points on each side of the face which is repeated one month later.
